URBANA – When Urbana Police responded to a business with a suspicious hole in the wall on N. Cunningham Monday, little did they know it would lead to a major burglary breakthrough.

According to police reports the scene hinted at missing items worth $3,500 and pointed to one suspect: 41-year-old Daniel Solis from Texas. Just a day later, following a brisk foot chase, officers apprehended Solis.

Further digging unearthed another burglary on Perkins Rd, recovering over $6,000 in stolen goods. Solis, facing the alleged charges, now awaits his day in court at Champaign County Jail.
