According to Will County Sheriff’s Police the incident occurred on May 7, 2024, around 5:37 PM at 144th Place and Rickerman Road in Unincorporated Lockport Township, as detailed by the Will County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities responded to a shots fired complaint and discovered a 45-year-old woman critically injured from multiple gunshot wounds. According to witnesses, Shadbar, armed with an assault-style rifle, had been allegedly shooting at the victim from various outside locations on his property.
