Wilmington, IL – Local Agencies Stage Pre-Prom Crash Simulation at Wilmington High School

Wilmington, IL – Local emergency services, including Wilmington Fire Protection District, Wilmington Police, and Hopkins Towing, will collaborate with Wilmington High School in a pre-prom safety demonstration this Friday morning.

The event, designed to educate students on the consequences of impaired driving, will feature a simulated crash scenario in front of the high school.

Attendees can expect to see emergency responders in action, utilizing their vehicles, lights, and sirens to create a realistic accident scene. This initiative aims to promote safe driving practices among teens during prom season.
