Northern Indiana Mall Food Court Shooting: One Suspect Arrested, Another At Large After Chaos Saturday

Fort Wayne, IN – Tension gripped Glenbrook Square Mall in northern Indiana on Saturday, as two men reportedly armed in the food court led to gunfire erupting around 2:30 PM. The Fort Wayne Police Department swiftly responded to the chaotic scene, which resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to two individuals, subsequently taken to the hospital.

Authorities have successfully apprehended one suspect, 22-year-old Brandon D. Key, Jr., charging him with allegations including criminal recklessness, intimidation, and resisting law enforcement. However, the second suspect involved in the shooting remains at large, prompting an ongoing manhunt.

The mall was closed for the remainder of Saturday following the incident. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward and contact the Fort Wayne Police Department at 427-1201 or Crime Stoppers at 436-7867. The community is also encouraged to use the free “P3 Tips” app to anonymously report any tips that might lead to the apprehension of the second suspect.
