Amazon Semi-Truck Melts in Fire on I-65 in Indiana, Causes Major Traffic Delays

Rensselaer, IN – A truck fire on I-65 caused significant traffic delays Tuesday as emergency services responded to the scene. 

The incident, involving an Amazon semi-truck, erupted into flames near the 221SB mile marker. Firefighters from the Rensselaer Volunteer Fire Department quickly arrived to manage the blaze, which was captured in dramatic scenes of fire and smoke billowing across the interstate. 

Traffic was heavily affected in both directions while the interstate was closed for a time, and authorities advised motorists to seek alternative routes while cleanup and investigation efforts were underway. 

Further details on the cause of the fire and any injuries are yet to be released.
