Indiana Highway Tragedy: Three Mexican Nationals Dead After Semi Crash

New Paris, IN – A catastrophic collision on State Road 15 claimed the lives of three individuals from Mexico on Thursday afternoon. 

The incident occurred south of New Paris near County Road 146 at approximately 3 p.m., according to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities reported that a vehicle carrying the victims made a sudden left turn, crossing into the path of an oncoming semi-truck.

The violent impact of the crash resulted in two passengers being ejected from their vehicle, while the third was trapped inside; all three were pronounced dead at the scene. The semi-truck driver escaped the incident without injuries.

An investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
