Rensselaer, IN – In a bid to strengthen educational leadership, the City of Rensselaer Common Council has opened applications for a forthcoming vacancy on the Rensselaer Central Schools Corporation Board. This position calls for proactive community members interested in shaping the future of local education.

The term for this board position begins on July 1, 2024, and concludes on June 30, 2028. Applicants must be residents of Rensselaer, living within the corporate city limits, and must not be current employees of the school system. This is to ensure that the board benefits from diverse perspectives while avoiding potential conflicts of interest.

Candidates are required to submit a letter of intent and a concise resume by 12:00 PM CST on Friday, May 10, 2024. These documents should provide insight into the applicant’s qualifications and their vision for the school district.
