Wheatfield, IN – A tense situation in Jasper County escalated into a crisis involving a young child, leading to serious felony charges against an Indiana man.
According to Jasper County Sheriff’s Department reports, the incident occurred on December 21, 2023, at a residence near Wheatfield. The central figure in this chaos, 22-year-old Jacob J. Thompson, was reportedly intoxicated and allegedly engaged in violent behavior, causing alarm and endangering those present, including a child.
