Lake County, IN – Two Residents Injured After Vehicle Collides with Home

Hobart, IN – In a startling incident Tuesday afternoon after a car veered off the road and crashed into a house on Decatur Street, prompting immediate road closures and emergency responses. 

The stretch between 10th and Csokasy Streets is now closed, as the Hobart Fire Department’s District 1 Technical Rescue Team works to stabilize the structure. Two individuals were injured in the collision and have been transported to a local hospital for treatment. 

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident and have advised drivers to seek alternate routes until further notice. Further updates are expected as the situation develops.
