Indianapolis Neighborhood Shaken as Jeep Crashes Into Indianapolis Home; Driver Flees Scene

Indianapolis, IN – A residential area was disrupted Saturday morning when a Jeep plowed into a home in the 200 block of Kansas St. after severing a fire hydrant at the intersection of Kansas and Senate. 

According to the Indianapolis Fire Department, the incident occurred at around 11:50 AM. No one was home during the crash, and the vehicle’s occupants reportedly fled the scene. Police have launched an investigation into the event. Fire crews on-site assessed the house’s structural integrity, which sustained significant damage. 

Despite the destruction, there was no immediate risk of collapse, and the Crisis Response Team was stood down.
