Indiana: Police Seek Public Aid to Identify Suspect in Children’s Hospital Donation Jar Thefts

Portage, IN – The Portage Police Department in Indiana is actively seeking assistance from the public to identify an alleged suspect involved in the theft of donation jars. 

These jars, intended to support a Children’s Hospital, were stolen from various Speedway locations in Portage. 

Detective Chris Burch is handling the case and encourages anyone with relevant information to reach out at 219-764-5796 or contact the Police Department at 219-762-3122, asking for Detective Burch. 

The department highlights the urgency of community involvement to ensure justice and support for the Children’s Hospital.
