Michigan Man’s Arm Amputated After Terrifying Head-On Semi Crash

CLIMAX, Mich. – A 32-year-old resident suffered a partial arm amputation early Thursday after his 2003 Chevrolet Tracker crossed into oncoming traffic.

According to reports it happened around 6:30 a.m. on State Road 120 and County Road 19, colliding head-on with a semi-truck driven by a Middlebury resident. 

The horrific impact left him hospitalized, transported to a nearby Hospital. He was later cited by police for veering left of center.
