Indiana Man Faces Reckless Homicide, DUI Charges Following Fatal Crash on Route 52

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. – A devastating accident on Route 52 has led to the arrest of Brent Wills, 44, of West Lafayette. 

The crash September 18, saw Wills’ 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee crash into a 2005 Pontiac G2. The impact was deadly, resulting in the death of one individual from the Pontiac. Their identity is yet to be disclosed by the Tippecanoe County Coroner.

Following an exhaustive investigation headed by Trooper Miramontes, Wills faces an array of serious charges. These include operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and multiple counts of reckless homicide. The evidence presented by the Indiana State Police Crash Reconstruction team and detectives from the Lafayette Post to the Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s Office was compelling enough to issue an arrest warrant for Wills.
