Farmersburg, IN – Commuters in Vigo County will need to plan for detours as the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces the closure of two bridges on State Road 246 just west of U.S. 41 for rehabilitation and maintenance.

According to INDOT, starting on or after Wednesday, April 10, crews will be working on the bridges, with the project necessitating temporary closures. Local travelers are advised to seek alternative routes and to allow for additional travel time.
