Adams County, IL – Deputies in Lind, Adams County, had a busy day on Thursday, starting with a stolen vehicle investigation and ending in multiple arrests. According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, the incident escalated in the evening when David Scott Douglas, 54, allegedly shot a crossbow at an individual on W 2nd Street.

Deputies, while investigating the assault, located the previously reported stolen vehicle, leading to the arrest of Ashley Lovonne Hendrickson, 36, for suspected possession of the stolen motor vehicle. Concurrently, Sabrina Marie Myers, 46, was arrested for allegedly making false statements to law enforcement, initially denying Douglas’ presence at the property.

Douglas was ultimately arrested on suspicion of first-degree assault (domestic violence). This series of events underscores the effectiveness of community cooperation in aiding law enforcement efforts.
