KANKAKEE – Ascension Saint Mary’s announced this week it will host a free prostate screening Friday, Sept. 23, 2022, from 8 to 11:30 a.m. at the Ascension Medical Group Urology offices, 455 W. Court St., Suite 403, in Kankakee.
According to the American Cancer Society, one in eight men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime. Early detection is when treatment is most effective.
All men 55 and older who have not completed a screening in the past two years are encouraged to take advantage of this free opportunity. Call 815-939-3190 for more information or to reserve your appointment before Friday, September 16th.
