Kankakee to host Christmas Parade for first time in four decades

KANKAKEE – The Kankakee City Council announced Tuesday night it will host the first Christmas Parade in nearly 40 years this December.

The Parade will be sponsored by the City of Kankakee and Kankakee 4th Ward Alderman Lance Marczak.

The event itself will kick off Saturday, December 10th at 4:30 p.m. with the route expected to be announced soon.
