BOURBONNAIS – Six Illinois Bed Bath & Beyond locations were on the first round of 56 store closings announced by the company Thursday.
Among them, the Bourbonnais store at 2056 North State Route 50 and Joliet store at 2850 Plainfield Road.
Four other Illinois locations were on the list, including Carbondale, Fairview Heights, Schaumburg and Gurnee locations.
The company did not state when the stores would close or how many employees at each location would be affected as a result of the closures. The home goods store expects to save $250 million dollars after all 150 stores have shuttered their doors.
