Benton Harbor, MI – Senior Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Wheelchair by Senior Driver

Benton Harbor, MI – A grave accident in Benton Township has resulted in the death of a senior pedestrian. The incident, involving a pedestrian in a wheelchair, occurred at the intersection of Milton Avenue and East Napier Avenue. 

According to local reports, the collision happened around 10 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22. The victim, a 59-year-old individual, was declared dead at the scene, adding to the community’s grief.

The driver of the vehicle, a 57-year-old resident of Benton Harbor, is actively cooperating with law enforcement in their investigation. Authorities are urging witnesses of the tragic event to come forward.
