Bloomington, IL – Body Found on Railroad Tracks, Investigation Underway

Bloomington, IL – A grim discovery was made on the morning of April 6, 2024, when a body was found by a train conductor on the railroad tracks near White Oak Road and Graham St. 

According to the McLean County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the scene at approximately 8:06 a.m. The investigation is being conducted by local sheriff’s deputies in conjunction with the McLean County Coroner’s Office and railroad authorities. Currently, foul play is not suspected.

Further details will be disclosed by McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder following an autopsy scheduled for April 8. The sheriff’s office has encouraged anyone with information to reach out to Detective Rivera at (309) 888-4940.
