Bolingbrook, IL – Celebrate Father’s Day with a free fishing weekend from Friday, June 14, to Sunday, June 16, at Hidden Lakes Trout Farm and Monee Reservoir.
During this special weekend, fishing enthusiasts can enjoy the sport without needing a license, thanks to the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Hidden Lakes Trout Farm in Bolingbrook and from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Monee Reservoir in Monee Township.
Fathers will receive complimentary bait or treats at each location, and fishing poles are available for loan, making it easy for everyone to join in the fun. Regular fishing limits will still apply to ensure a balanced and enjoyable experience for all.
