Bourbonnais Drug Bust: Foot Chase Ends in Arrest, Driver Still on the Run

BOURBONNAIS – A routine traffic stop took an unexpected turn Wednesday afternoon when police officers detected the pungent smell of marijuana in a vehicle. 

According to Bourbonnais Police, traffic violation lead to a subsequent search of the vehicle that yielded a large quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, then occupants quickly abandoned the car and fled on foot. 

Officers managed to apprehend 24-year-old Tyree J. Jordan, who was charged on drug violations and obstructing police, but the driver remains at large.
