Bourbonnais, IL – Kankakee Teen Arrested Following Car Chase After Multiple Break-Ins

Bourbonnais, IL – A Kankakee teenager was arrested following a car chase in Bourbonnais, Illinois, stemming from multiple car break-ins reported near Stadium Drive. 

According to police, the events unfolded Monday morning when officers were investigating the break-ins. During the investigation, they spotted a vehicle believed to be stolen and engaged in a pursuit. The chase ended in the 200 block of South Cleveland in Bradley, with the driver, a 17-year-old from Kankakee, fleeing on foot before being taken into custody. 

The involvement of a second individual in the incident remains unconfirmed. The teen was later released to his mother. Residents are urged to remain vigilant and lock their vehicles.
