BOURBONNAIS, IL – Culver’s of Bourbonnais will host a special event next Thursday, July 20th, from 4pm to 10pm to honor the memory of Domonic Esslinger, a cherished team member who tragically lost his life in a car accident last month.
During the event, the restaurant will donate 20% of all sales to assist Domonic’s family with the unexpected costs they are facing.
Described by Culver’s as someone with a bright smile, an outgoing attitude, and a passion for dancing with coworkers, Domonic had a big-hearted nature that left a lasting impact on those around him. Whether he was savoring a plate of cheese curds or rocking out to music, Domonic’s vibrant personality always shone through.
Dining at Culver’s of Bourbonnais, located on Convent St, between 4pm and 10pm on July 20th will directly contribute to easing the financial burdens that Domonic’s family now faces.
“Our beloved team member, Domonic Esslinger, was involved in a fatal car accident a couple of weeks ago. We want to support his family during this difficult time,” said Rachel Vandergriff, General Manager of Culver’s of Bourbonnais. “Domonic would have celebrated his 20th birthday on July 1st, so we thought it would be fitting to hold this event on July 20th to celebrate his life and honor his memory.”
The tragic accident occurred on June 16th in Iroquois County when Domonic Esslinger’s vehicle collided head-on with a car driven by 26-year-old Jordan Depoister from Martinton, IL. Sadly, Domonic lost his life at the scene, and Depoister later passed away due to injuries sustained in the crash.
