Brookfield, IL Fire Department Opens Recruitment for Two New Firefighters

Brookfield, IL – The Brookfield Fire Department has announced its recruitment drive, offering two immediate openings with a salary range between $73,172 and $111,088. 

The department, which handles approximately 2,800 calls annually across two stations, is seeking qualified individuals to join their ranks and contribute to serving a population of 19,476 residents.

According to the recruitment flyer, the application deadline is set for March 15, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. 

Candidates must be U.S. citizens, under 35 years of age unless statutorily exempt, and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. A valid paramedic certification by the time of hire and a Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) card are also required.
