MINNEAPOLIS, MN – General Mills has issued a voluntary national recall for its Gold Medal Unbleached and Bleached All Purpose Flour products with a “better if used by” date of March 27 and 28, 2024, due to potential contamination with Salmonella Infantis.

The recall affects two-, five- and ten-pound bags of the products, sold in stores or consumers’ pantries.

Consumers are advised not to consume raw products made with flour, and to properly clean surfaces, hands, and utensils after contact with flour or dough.

Symptoms of Salmonella Infantis infection include nausea, diarrhea, fever, and abdominal pains.

General Mills has provided a hotline for consumers to contact for further information.
