Riverside Healthcare Promotes Two Leaders to Administrative Team

KANKAKEE, IL – Riverside Healthcare, a fully integrated healthcare system, has announced two promotions to its administrative leadership team. Kathy O’Grady has been named Vice President of Nursing and Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and Mary Kohl has been named Vice President of Clinical Services.

O’Grady, who started at Riverside in 2012 as the Director of Emergency Services, has extensive experience as a primary care Nurse Practitioner and has received recognition as a Nurse of the Year and Safety Leader. Kohl, on the other hand, has been serving Riverside since 1979 as an operating room nurse and team leader.

O’Grady will now be responsible for Nursing Operations, Inpatient Nursing, Magnet, and Clinical Resource Management, among other key duties, while Kohl’s administrative responsibilities will include Perioperative Services, Interventional Services, Imaging, Women & Newborns, and more.
