Livingston County Sheriff’s Office seeks public’s help in identifying armed robbery suspect

PONTIAC, Ill. – The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery at the Marathon Gas Station in Saunemin on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.

According to the employee, the suspect was a black male wearing a hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and black shoes. He also had a mask covering his face and gloves covering his hands when he displayed a gun and demanded money from the cash register.

The Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone who may have seen something or has any information about the suspect to come forward. They are also requesting that anyone in the area with security cameras or doorbell cameras contact Detective Emily Frobish if they have any footage that could assist with the ongoing investigation.

“We are looking for the public’s help. If you saw something or know something, give us a call,” said Sheriff Ryan D. Bohm.

The Sheriff’s Office reminds the public that they can remain anonymous when providing information about the case.
