In addition to the thunderstorms, cooler lakeside conditions are expected, with high temperatures ranging from 68 to 74 degrees and evening lows between 49 and 53 degrees. The National Weather Service has also issued a high swim risk for Lake Michigan, cautioning against swimming due to potentially dangerous conditions.
Looking ahead, Wednesday and Thursday are expected to bring cooler temperatures lakeside, with highs between 67 and 74 degrees. The weather is forecasted to improve by Friday, with temperatures rising to 77 degrees and mostly sunny skies. The weekend may see a slight chance of storms, but overall warmer and more stable weather is anticipated.
