Willowbrook, IL – The DuPage County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating a domestic-related shooting that occurred late at night in unincorporated Willowbrook, which resulted in one fatality and one person being taken into custody.
According to police reports the incident unfolded on Monday night at 16W 600 Mockingbird Lane, where deputies apprehended an individual matching the suspect’s description. Authorities discovered the victim unresponsive with a potential gunshot wound.
The individual taken into custody is currently under investigation. Further information will be released as the investigation continues.
