Dyer, IN – The Dyer Police Department has announced that on Monday, March 25, 2024, traffic on US30 will be reduced to two lanes, with one lane operational in each direction. This temporary adjustment aims to facilitate CSX in conducting maintenance work at the railroad crossing located in the 600 block of US30.

Following the completion of work on one side of the crossing, operations will shift to the other side, with traffic adjustments made accordingly. Motorists are advised to allocate additional time for their travels during this period to accommodate potential delays.

This infrastructure maintenance is critical for ensuring the safety and efficiency of the crossing, highlighting the importance of patience and planning from the community.
