Elmhurst, IL – Dine-and-Dash Incident at Buffalo Wild Wings Leads to Arrest of Armed Chicago Man

Elmhurst, IL – In a swift response to a reported dine-and-dash incident at Buffalo Wild Wings in Elmhurst, police apprehended a Chicago man, found to be an armed habitual criminal, and a woman allegedly involved in the theft. 

According to the Elmhurst Police Department, the call came in on Wednesday around 3:30 p.m., reporting a couple who left without paying. Officers located Teiwan J. Bergman, 22, and an unidentified 22-year-old Elmhurst woman shortly after, with Bergman carrying a loaded Glock and controlled substances. 

Charges against Bergman include armed violence and unlawful use of a weapon by a felon, among others. Bergman has since been detained awaiting trial, while the woman faces misdemeanor theft charges.
