KANKAKEE, Ill. – Kankakee Community College (KCC) is now accepting applications for its health career programs for Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 entry. Aspiring healthcare professionals can apply for programs such as Practical Nursing, Registered Nursing, Physical Therapist Assistant, Medical Lab Technology, Paramedic, and Respiratory Therapist.
To be considered for these programs, students must complete a KCC application for admission, meet the eligibility requirements, submit a program application, and pass the HESI A2 test by the appropriate deadline.
Deadlines for testing vary depending on the program, with some programs requiring testing by June 29, 2023, and others by November 1, 2023.
KCC also offers health careers courses and certificates that do not require a competitive application process, including Phlebotomy, Medical Laboratory Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician-Basic, and Nursing Assistant.
