Garage fire in detached building on Ashley Ave in Bourbonnais

BOURBONNAIS – Multiple agencies responded to a fire in a detached garage in the 300 block of Ashley Avenue Saturday afternoon.

Few details are available at this time to what caused the blaze that started sometime in the 2 p.m. hour. At one point during the call firefighters used sawing equipment to get into the burnt garage.

Homeowners gathered at the scene were unaware of what caused the fire.

Bourbonnais Fire and Police along with Bradley and Kankakee Fire Departments responded to the call.
