Gary, IN – A 25-year-old man was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds early Sunday morning at Back Stage on Broadway in Gary.
According to the Lake County Coroner’s Office, the victim, identified as Elliot Richards, was pronounced dead at the scene by a coroner’s investigator at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday. A forensic autopsy performed on Monday confirmed that Richards died from multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide.
The Gary Police Department, Lake County Sheriff’s Department CSI, and Lake County Prosecutor’s Homicide Task Force are investigating the incident. No further details have been released at this time.
