The Grundy County Law Enforcement Managers Association is offering a scholarship of $2,000 to four high school graduates or college students who will be attending a college or university full-time in the 2023-24 school year.
The scholarship is aimed at students pursuing a degree-bound program, preferably related to Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement.
The Scholarship Committee will award four scholarships of $500 each to qualified students. The scholarship applications must be completed and returned to the Grundy County Law Enforcement Managers Association Scholarship Committee by April 24th, 2023.
The Grundy County Law Enforcement Managers Association Scholarship Fund aims to provide financial assistance toward an Associate, Baccalaureate or Master’s degree, preferably in Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement.
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be enrolled as full-time students for the fall semester of the 2023-2024 school year. Preference will be given to Grundy County residents, family members of active or retired Grundy County Law Enforcement Officials, family members of current or retired Association members, individuals seeking a degree in a criminal justice-related field, and individuals who have not received the Association’s scholarship in the past.
Applications should demonstrate a proven work ethic, an interest in their community and public service.
