Homewood Bank Targeted by Trio in ATM Robbery

Homewood, Illinois – The Village of Homewood was disrupted Tuesday when an armed robbery allegedly involving three suspects unfolded at the BMO Harris Bank ATM situated at 17600 Halsted Avenue. 

According to police reports it began at 12:46 PM, authorities received a distress call, prompting a swift response from the Homewood Police Department. Investigators say three individuals, their identities concealed, reportedly confronted an ATM armored truck employee, demanding cash from the machine. The trio purportedly absconded with an undisclosed sum of US currency.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the unsettling incident.
