Rensselaer, IN – The Indiana Sheriffs’ Association, represented by Jasper County Sheriff Patrick Williamson, has announced its plan to award approximately 40 scholarships worth $750 each to high school seniors and college students pursuing criminal justice studies.
Established to support students committed to a law enforcement career, the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship Fund aims to foster the next generation of law enforcement professionals. According to the association, eligible applicants must be Indiana residents, either members of the association or dependents of current members, and must be enrolled in an Indiana college or university.
The scholarship program emphasizes a major in a law enforcement field and requires full-time enrollment. Interested students can obtain applications from their high school counselors, local sheriff’s offices, or directly from the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association website. The submission deadline for these applications is April 1.
