Jasper County, IN – Authorities are investigating after a 48-year-old truck driver was found dead in his semi truck cab on Monday at a southbound rest stop just off I-65. The Jasper County Coroner’s office made the announcement on Tuesday.
The cause of death is under investigation, with toxicology and autopsy reports pending. Dr. John Feczko, the Jasper County Coroner’s Pathologist, conducted the autopsy on June 4. The driver’s identity is being withheld until all family members are notified.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene, including the Keener Township Fire Department and EMS, Jasper County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana State Police, Indiana Department of Transportation, and the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department from Wisconsin.
