Lake County, IN – Network Issue Disrupts 911 Services

Lake County, IN – Residents in Lake County are experiencing difficulties making and receiving calls, including to 911, due to a network problem reported by AT&T.

According to a statement from Lake County 911, AT&T informed them of the issue, which is affecting customers nationwide. Residents unable to connect to 911 are advised to call the non-emergency number at 219-660-0000. If connection problems persist, using a landline or an alternative phone carrier may be necessary.

AT&T has indicated that the time required to resolve this national network issue remains unknown.
