Indianapolis, IN – Multiple Properties Affected in Neighborhood Fire, 10 Displaced

Indianapolis, IN – A fire that erupted on Worcester Ave in Indianapolis on Monday at 12:12 PM has resulted in the displacement of 10 people.

The blaze, which began in a garage at 1109 Worcester Ave, rapidly spread to nearby homes and another garage. The Indianapolis Fire Department (IFD) swiftly responded to the scene.

Fortunately, no injuries have been reported. The response team, comprising 14 IFD units including five engines and three ladders, managed to control the fire within 45 minutes. 

The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the IFD and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Fire Investigators. Assistance for the displaced residents is being arranged by the IFD Victims Assistance in collaboration with the Red Cross.
