Kankakee, IL – Young Aspiring Skaters to Hit the Ice for Try Hockey for Free Day

Kankakee, IL – Kankakee County is all set to host the annual “Try Hockey for Free Day,” welcoming children aged 4 to 9 to discover the thrill of ice hockey without any cost. 

Sponsored by USA Hockey and Ice Valley Centre Ice Arena, the event is slated for Saturday, February 24, from 3:15 to 4:15 PM. According to the event organizers, this initiative is part of National Try Hockey for Free Day and aims to foster a love for the game while promoting important life skills such as confidence and responsibility. 

Interested participants are urged to secure their spot promptly as registration is now live and space is limited. Parents can register their children at tryhockeyforfree.com to ensure an opportunity to experience this engaging sport.
