BOURBONNAIS – Bond has been set for a Kankakee man charged with attempted murder after a shooting Monday at TJ Donlins in Bourbonnais.

Court documents show Monday 22-year-old Isacc L. Smith of Kankakee being held on half-a-million dollars bond for his alleged role in a fight early Sunday morning in the parking lot of the bar that led to a man being shot multiple times.

Bourbonnais Police arrived at the bar’s parking lot early Sunday morning around 2 am to reports of a possible fight. Upon arrival, officers heard shots before a vehicle took off. A vehicle matching the description was later detained by Kankakee Police and occupants charged.

Smith was one of four charged in the incident with alleged mob action, but only Smith was charged with attempted murder along with other firearm charges.
