Kankakee, IL – Kankakee City Police arrested 19-year-old Jaylin James on Tuesday morning after a traffic stop in the 300 block of South Hillcrest Ave.

James, wanted on an outstanding warrant, fled and resisted arrest, leading to police using a taser twice to subdue him. Despite being tased, James managed to remove the taser prongs during the struggle. The incident required several officers to bring him into custody.
