Kendall County, IL – Oswego Police Request Public Aid After Hit-and-Run Incident

Oswego, IL – Oswego authorities are urging the community to come forward with any information related to a hit-and-run accident that occurred this morning. 

According to the Village of Oswego Police, at around 6:47 a.m., a 68-year-old woman was hit by a car while crossing Mill Road. The driver, in a white car with tinted windows, failed to stop and proceeded west on Mill Road. The pedestrian sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital. 

The police are seeking witnesses and have asked those with information, especially video evidence, to contact the Oswego Police Department at 630-551-7300 or Kendall County Crime Stoppers at 630-553-5999, where tips leading to an arrest may be rewarded.
