Lisle, IL – Residents of Lisle are invited to participate in the Soccer Gear for Zambia collection drive on March 16 at Benedictine University. This charitable event, a part of Lisle’s Sustainable Saturday initiative, has been instrumental in providing much-needed soccer equipment to Zambia since 2017.

According to the event organizers, the drive will take place from 9 a.m. to noon, accepting donations such as girl leggings, soccer uniforms, cleats, soccer balls, nets, referee and goalie gear, and first aid kits. These contributions have significantly impacted over 160 programs across Zambia, focusing on community leadership, girl empowerment, and education on HIV prevention and safe water handling.

For more details, supporters are encouraged to visit the Soccer Gear for Zambia website.
