Livingston County, IL – Four Charged with Drug and Weapons Offenses After Proactive Unit Raid

Pontiac, IL – An extensive operation by the Livingston County Proactive Unit on Wednesday resulted in significant drug and weapons charges against four individuals. 

According to Livingston County Sheriff’s Department reports, the unit, in collaboration with Pontiac Police and other agencies, conducted a search warrant in Flanagan, leading to the discovery of methamphetamine and a cache of illegal firearms. 

According to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, the seizures included 18.2 grams of methamphetamine, indicative of potential distribution activities, alongside psilocybin mushrooms and heroin/fentanyl mixtures.

The operation also uncovered numerous weapons, amplifying the severity of the charges. Recovered items featured a short-barrel AR-15, shotguns, handguns, and extensive ammunition, raising serious concerns about drug-related violence in the area.
