Illinois High School Receives Second Bomb Threat in a Week

GLEN ELLYN, Ill. – Glenbard West High School in Glen Ellyn was evacuated on Tuesday, May 3rd, after a bomb threat was received by school staff around 11:30am. 

This is the second bomb threat that the high school has received in the past week, with the first one happening on Thursday, April 27th. 

Police have closed off the area around the school and advised people to stay away as they investigate the incident. Students and staff were allowed to leave around 1:30 pm, some two hours after the lockdown began. 

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact the Glen Ellyn Police Department.
