Illinois Teen Still Missing After Family Dispute, Month-Long Search

BLOOMINGTON, IL – The Bloomington Police Department’s relentless search for a missing JUVENILE has now extended past a month, adding urgency to the quest to bring her home safely.

Paiton Van, a 16-year-old black female from Bloomington, IL, was reported missing on 06/25/23, sparking deep concerns among her family and authorities alike.

Despite diligent efforts, Paiton remains unaccounted for. Standing at 5’05” and weighing 125 pounds, she has black hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing gray sweatpants and an unknown colored top. The family has given consent to share Paiton’s photograph in hopes of gaining more leads.

Detective Weston Gresham continues to lead the investigation, and the police department appeals to the public for any information that could lead to Paiton’s whereabouts.
