Pembroke Township Home Invasion: Police Investigate After Gunpoint Robbery

PEMBROKE, IL – Police are investigating a home invasion that occurred over the weekend in Pembroke Township. 

According to reports, Deputies from the Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police were called to a residence in the 13100 block of East Spinning Wheel Road after receiving reports of two black males forcibly entering the home and pointing a gun at the resident inside while demanding money. 

The homeowner believed one of the suspects was bitten by a dog during the incident, leading both men to flee the scene on foot. 

Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact CrimeStoppers at 815-93-CRIME.
